At HumptyHillHead we believe there is no reason to be charged through the roof for assistance with your computer. Take your computer to a major computer store and be prepared to pay a fortune for them to just have a look at it!

We work differently.

Have a problem with your computer? Phoning the manufacture can be a costly exercise. We believe that computing should be an enjoyable experience, not an expensive chore, which is why we offer some FREE services as well as some reasonably priced ones.

PC Health CheckMore Info We can come round and give your PC the "once over" for you. This can improve speed, security and the general health of your operating system. Also it's good for finding just what is clogging up that hard drive, removing unused programs and a host of other trucks. This service is always included when taken any other service (if you want it)

Lessons in all of the above (as well as general computer lessons)More InfoBecause we're nice, it gets better. Not only can we do all of the above and more, we can teach you how to do it (and other computery things). Sounds crazy right? What kind of business idea is that? Well it's cause we love you, and we think it would be nice for you to be able to not call us again, not because we don't like your voice, because we like helping people. You can still call us, you know, for a chat!

 

 

What we charge

Well this is the beauty of it all. We don't charge much. We charge a standard rate of £25 per hour including VAT, whatever service you require. There is no callout charge and we will never charge you if we can't fix it.

If your computer requires a part, we will of course completely inform you of the price prior to ordering and the part, if in stock it will be with us within one working day - this means no more waiting up to 21 days (leading computer company) for a replacement part, we can have it done in just one working day AND we are cheaper!

HumptyHillHead is part of the Murphy575 Group. Established in 1997 the Murphy575 Group have provided fantastic value for money ever since. They offer web design at great value, and we offer all of the above.

 

Why so cheap?

 

Lets get down to business here.

Put simply, it does not need to cost an arm and a leg just to have your computer looked after. Sure you can go and pay in excess of £100* for a "simple" problem (for example replacing the hard drive) and we could charge it, but we wouldn't get away with it cause it's a rip-off. To do that job we would only charge £25, even less if you liked us on facebook.

We use a mobile because we don't like hanging around in call centres speaking to somebody who has no idea what you are talking about - so we give you our chief technician’s mobile number. I'm sure he won't mind.

 

We are normally available. The guy hardly sleeps, but unfortunately although we tried to sign it into his contract, he demanded beauty sleep.

 

However if you do phone, and get no luck, which could be because of sleep, or work or if we are feeling generous we might give him some free time - just leave a message and he will get back to you as soon as he can.
